So replacement of gear has commenced... I picked up a VFC PDW running 430 fps out of the box as my primary and a KJW 1911 variant. I have all the basics again minus any rigging... Nobody had a seal rig ... So I don't have a sling or holster or any rigging for mags o other thing et cetera... They will come soon.

I'm really embarrassed to say it, but I can't make June 2nd either. I know it was nearly two months ago but when we had the team meeting I mentioned that I'm in Ontario from May 28th to June 10th visiting family. For the Saturdays in May the 5th, 12th and 26th work. FYI, my insurance claim is going ahead and I will soon be replacing my gear. So, here's the question, where should I be going to get the best selection and deals et cetera. Also, what would be you guys thoughts on what to purchase, I obviously am restricted in that area due to the insurance, however, I have some flexibility.

What do you all think?

All depends on work - three company tax year ends to go through and still working. However, please kick some ass for me if I dont go. There is a milsim going on and 105 people so far attending held by OPFOR/BCAC I think. You can run wtih team rice (Julians) if you like.

Sadly I definitely will not be able to make the May 19th APFT and Grind. I cancelled the leave for Cold Front in August feeling this was more important only to find out that all along May 18th, 19th and 20th can not be taken off except for family emergencies. Sorry about this.

I'll put the word out on the field and leagues. If they took your BDU's and it has an angels patch on it, it'll be pretty easy to see and know who to pin down :). I have extra everything right down to all rigs, radios, headsets, gloves, goggles, primaries, secondaries and BDU's. We're pretty much the same size and happy to set you up so don't hesitate to come out.

Please note this training date has been moved to May. We need to discuss at an upcoming meeting to ensure we have firm commitment (at which point we can nail down the price) and also discuss other forms of helicopter training, including Human External Cargo (see/download the HEC manual here). Especially if we go the HEC route we will need to consider training location.

There will be a fair amount of planning and some pre-study required so we need to have a good idea of who all will be attending.

The month of May should provide us with some better weather to work with and I hopefully we could use this time also to get some stock video (GoPro) footage.

Sorry guys I'm working. Good news on my primary though it's back up and running. Though I haven't test fired any rounds but it seems to be firing fine. I never actually "broke" anything but the piston was never greased and the friction from the piston head o-ring on th dry piston caused the piston head to tear right off of the piston. It's now back together and greased and good to go.
